Credebt recognised in the Parliamentary Review
At the end of last year, our MD Glen Morgan was asked to contribute an article to the Parliamentary Review, which aims to raise the standards by showcasing best practice to the UK’s leading policymakers and executives.
Glen: “They wanted my expert opinion on the subject of late payments, and I was delighted to share my ideas about debt collection and credit control for the SME market. I also touched on why I believe legislation is needed to help SMEs collect debt and how the debt collection sector is profoundly affected by political instability.”
The Parliamentary Review
Every year The Parliamentary Review’s spring launch brings together the most creative and inspiring voices across business, industry, education and the public sector to share insight, encourage best practice and help organisations confront the challenges of an ever-changing political landscape. Co-chaired by Lord Blunkett and Lord Pickles, The Review features commentary from senior politicians & journalists.
Success for businesses of any size does not always come easily, and this year’s edition of The Parliamentary Review is indispensable for anyone who seeks to make a name for themselves in industry. It highlights significant developments and concerns for business leaders up and down the country.
Lord Pickles
The co-chairman of The Parliamentary Review, Lord Pickles, has praised the upcoming Review as one of the most comprehensive yet.
He commented that as Britain undergoes changes, it is “essential that politicians have a firm understanding of the challenges with which British organisations must contend” and that The Review once again provides a perfect platform for this.
Secretary of State Elizabeth Truss
Writing in The Review, the Secretary of State for International Trade, Elizabeth Truss, says that “with the right policies in place, the UK can be the most competitive, free-thinking, prosperous nation on Earth.”
