Following an initial conversation, we always suggest that the first step is to get us out to site to carry out a comprehensive Debtor Collateral Review. It includes:
On-site visit, usually within 24 hours but guaranteed within 48 hours, to thoroughly review the following:

Order to Cash Process

Aging Profile of the ledger and movements over recent months

Details of any issues and queries

Invoices and Backing paperwork

Staff – current and historical, and procedures followed

Reconciliations being produced

Verification of Outstanding Balances if required
While on-site, we will meticulously analyse all aspects of the Debt against which your Funds are secured. We call on our extensive expertise in all industries to find issues and investigate them, before reporting to you with our findings and offering solutions on day one.
We have no set agenda other than to investigate and confirm the actual status and Real Value of the Ledger, and to propose sensible solutions that we can then follow up in a variety of ways.

Get an up to date picture with our Telephone Debtor Verification service
With an increase in the number of frauds, we know how important it is for funders to monitor their clients closely.
To assist with this, we have launched our Fixed Fee Telephone Debtor Verification (TDV) service, which is charged at £1K + VAT, regardless of ledger size, number of debtors to contact and the length of time we spend on it.
The TDV will be carried out by an experienced Credit Control Team who all have a minimum of 15 years’ experience, and you will get a full report as quickly as possible, to provide you with the answers you need.
We would suggest this service is useful for any client you have any concerns with at all, but specifically if any of the following are apparent:
* End Column more than 10% of the ledger
* DSO recently increased by 10 days or more
* Recent audit produced concerns
* Reconciliation issues
New Business. We offer the same service at take on once a deal has passed Credit, and you are looking to sign up the business, subject to verification.
Also, if this happens to lead to any further work required and Credebt are engaged, this fee is offset against future fees, which means that the TDV was free of charge, unless it stays as a standalone piece of work.
